Bad weather capable of bringing several communities in Northern Italy to their knees, but not just by luck. The Peninsula, in these hours and days, is going through critical phases meteorologically. This is partly due to the influence of Hurricane Kirk which is hitting Northern Europe.
A’intense disturbance Atlantic is affecting the entire country, with a greater impact in the North and along the Tyrrhenian regions. The situation which currently sees the persistence of bad weather, however, does not seem destined to improve. Heavy rain, intense winds and widespread thunderstorms are also forecast for tomorrow, Wednesday 9 October, with the risk of flooding.
The Department of Civil Protection has issued a series of warnings weather alert on his site. In fact, the maximum alert level, red, has been declared for some areas of the Veneto. Five regions are under orange alert and twelve regions are under yellow alert. Almost no one is saved from this wave of intense bad weather.
Based on the forecasts and phenomena already underway, a forecast has been issued for October 9th.red alert due to hydrogeological risk in the Alto Brenta-Bacchiglione-Alpone and Piave piedmont areas in Veneto. The national bulletin also reports yellow alert for storms, hydrogeological and hydraulic risk in Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Basilicata, Campania, Liguria, Puglia, Lazio, Molise and Umbria.
In the detail of the red alert, certain conditions have been indicated most critical areas of the Veneto, such as Alto Brenta-Bacchiglione-Alpone and Piave piedmont. The yellow warning for bad weather extends to many regions, in fact, due to the risk represented by the intensity of storms and possible floods in much of Northern and Southern Italy.

Conditions are expected throughout the day nice weather over the Adriatic, eastern Emilia, Romagna, central-southern regions and the islands, while the clouds will thicken in the north-west with rain arriving in the western Alps and Liguria, extending in the evening to Lombardy and Triveneto.
