GRID Legends it’s going badly on Steam: according to the findings of SteamDB, it seems that the new racer developed by Codemasters has barely scored 455 players peak.
These are lower numbers than the already quite low ones of Babylon’s Fall, with its 650 peak players on Steam, and which confirm how the driving game has been crushed by the most famous releases of this period.
A real shame considering that, unlike the aforementioned Babylon’s Fall, greeted with disastrous votes, GRID Legends received very discordant votes from the international press, with some publications that rewarded it and others that penalized it.
In our GRID Legends review we drew the picture of a pleasant and well-featured product, featuring good online multiplayer and amazing behavioral routines.
But when it comes to competing with potential blockbusters like Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring and Gran Turismo 7, it’s clear that the situation gets complicated. The hope is that long-term sales will allow the game to catch up.
