Both titles benefited from their passionate community, but this proves that a legacy does not have an expiration date.
Back 4 Blood, the spiritual successor of Left 4 Dead, again invoked all the players who enjoyed the cooperative deliveries, developed by the Turtle Rock studio. Although this new installment reached 6 million players after 2 weeks of its launch, the situation has changed a bit, because although many people are enjoying it on Steam, the number of active players in Left 4 Dead 2 it is higher.
Left 4 Dead 2 has 4,000 more active players than Back 4 BloodAs of this writing, and according to the Steam database, the title released in 2009 has, approximately, 4,000 players more than the just released installment, in the same studio after both games, Turtle Rock is the one who ultimately benefits twice, all thanks to its loyal community.
Why did this happen? The answer could be in the Steam Halloween Sale, as Left 4 Dead 2 lowered to an almost free price. However, there is also the possibility that, in a certain way, Back 4 Blood has generated curiosity and interest in Left 4 Dead, which is more affordable, but all this is mere assumption.
This does not take away the credit for the new title, because if you took a look at our analysis of the game, you will know that Back 4 Blood still retains the charismatic formula of Turtle Rock, and even with the legend that is Left 4 Dead today, this new installment continues to be ideal for fans of shooting and action.
