The president’s agenda in South Korea will also include working meetings with investors organized by Invest in Madrid, the regional agency for attracting investments. The Community of Madrid leads Spain in attracting funds from other countries, almost 75 percent of the national total, practically three out of every four euros. One of the main objectives of the trip is to continue promoting this trend and “prevent the economic and fiscal policies of the central government from harming it.”
The trip will include a meeting and working lunch with the governor of the Korean capital region: Gyeonggi. The president will be accompanied on the trip by the advisors of the Presidency, Justice and Local Administration, Miguel Ángel García; that of Education, Science and Universities, Emilio Viciana, and that of Digitalization, Miguel López Valverde. Each of them will have their own agenda of visits and meetings focused on their work areas.
