SAO PAULO (Reuters) – The average daily financial volume in the B3 equity segment fell 22.2% in June compared to the same period a year earlier, to 28.8 billion reais, the operator of the Brazilian stock exchange said in a statement.
Compared to May, the volume fell by 5.2%.
Trading volume in derivative contracts, which includes foreign exchange and interest, fell 12.3% in June on an annual basis, but advanced 8.3% month-on-month.
