Last week, Crystal dynamics implemented EXP boosts to Marvel’s avengers, which you can buy to gain experience and level up faster. Previously, its authors promised that they would not do this kind of thing, so it is easy to see why the community received this news with so much criticism.
Well after all backlash caused by this decision, its developers released a statement in which they ask to avoid attacks and personal threats to any other member of the community or the team of Crystal Dynamics.
“We appreciate the Marvel’s Avengers community and want to foster an open and healthy dialogue with all of you (for both criticism and praise). However, we will not tolerate any type of attack.
Decisions within the studio are not made by one person, they are made by a group of leaders. We accept feedback, but it is not appropriate to personally attack or threaten any member of our community team. They are here to be the voice of your problems and bring them to us.
Please help us keep conversations civil and productive as we continue to work on making Marvel’s Avengers a fun and entertaining experience for you. “
As you could already read, nowhere in the statement is it mentioned that they are going to withdraw these EXP boosts, so they will surely remain in the game.
Editor’s note: I agree that no one should threaten anyone about this kind of thing, but the people of Crystal dynamics you should know that implementing EXP boosts to the game would only provoke criticism from the community, especially when they had promised that they were not going to do it.
