Great surprise has caused the latest Netflix announcement on its social networks. The streaming reported that the actor Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0 & The Good Doctor) To Star In Avatar: The Last Airbender, the live action adaptation of the popular Nickelodeon animated series.
The series, now overseen by showrunner Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow and Nikita), is described as a reimagined version of the franchise, which debuted in 2005 and ran for a total of three seasons.

From what has been made known, Kim to play the role of Ozai, the relentless leader of the Fire Nation demanding that everyone meet his standards, especially his son Zuko. His drive to conquer and unite the world under the rule of the firebender is a family burden: he believes his destiny is to end a war started by his ancestors.
As a regular on the series, Daniel Dae Kim joined the cast of young leads already confirmed in the project: Dallas Liu (Zuko), Gordon Cormier (Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara) and Ian Ousley (Sokka).
The interpreter is a well-known face on American television, having been part of the cast of Hawaii five-0, Lost, Divergent, the series: Loyal and Hellboy. He is also an executive producer on ABC’s The Good Doctor, where he plays the role of Dr. Jackson Han.
