The UAE Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee announced that the official ceremony to celebrate the 50th National Day of the United Arab Emirates on December 2 will be held in Hatta, Dubai. The shows will be open to the public for 9 days, starting from 4 to 12 December, by purchasing limited tickets on the website: www.UAENationalDay.ae.
The committee’s initiative, which bears the slogan “Fifty Days for Fifty”, invited everyone to participate in the celebrations through a series of activations and activities that will be published on a daily basis on the social media platforms of the UAE National Day @OfficialUAEND. The initiative invites everyone to celebrate and share their experiences by using the hashtag #50th_Celebrations.
Daily activities, which began on October 13, included:
Be the reason five people are happy today.
Visit Expo 2020 and collect 10 seals from different pavilions.
Write a letter to your future self.
Learn five sentences or words in Emirati Sign Language.
Write the phrase “the year of the fiftieth” in your mother tongue, or try writing the sentence with beautiful Arabic calligraphy.
Buy local produce or fresh local produce.
Walk around and share with us your favorite place in the UAE.
Contribute to introducing the world to our rich heritage.. Visit one of your favorite cultural and archaeological sites.
Try doing the exercises you are doing for the first time.
Donate blood and help save the lives of others.
Help someone in need today and donate more clothes and furniture than you need.
Visit a charity in your area and donate what you can.
Visit your nearest public library and borrow a book from your nearest public library.
Draw, create or write a poem about what inspires you about our home.
