There is less and less time left for the automotive roundtable convened by Minister Adolfo Urso: on February 1st the leaders of the government and Stellantis they will meet with trade unions, business and supply chain associations and the Regions to discuss the future of the Italian-French group and the automotive sector as a whole in Italy. Many topics on the agenda, from the new Ecobonus to the project growth of Italian production.
No Tavares
According to what Ansa reported, it will stand out the absence of Carlos Tavares: the CEO of Stellantis will not be present to represent the Italian-French group at the automotive table, whose company delegation it will instead be led by Davide Mele, head of Corporate Affairs Italy, Daniele Chiari, head of Institutional Relations in Italy, and Giuseppe Manca, head of Human Resources in Italy.
Agenda
As mentioned, the decree of the President of the Council of Ministers will be presented to remodel the Ecobonus for the purchase of vehicles with low polluting emissions. But not only that: Stellantis' production target will also be debated one million vehicles in Italy, and the state of progress of the working groups dedicated to the market, competitiveness, components, work and research. However, there are no new developments related to the new car manufacturer that the government has made it known that it wants to attract to our country to increase car production: in recent weeks there has been talk of Tesla and some Chinese manufacturers, but everything has yet to be confirmed.
