Genoa – Construction sites suspended on Ligurian motorways during the Easter holidays and an information channel for motorists in case of emergencies. In order not to repeat the long queues of the Christmas period, the President of the Region Giovanni Toti and the leaders of Autostrada dei Fiori today defined the next timetable for stopping work, as already happened for the Epiphany bridge. Stop which will be triggered primarily with the Easter departures.
“The concessionaire has confirmed that during the Easter exodus there will be a definitive improvement in traffic on the A10 Savona-Ventimiglia following the suspension of construction sites. However, we believe it is necessary to optimize the layout of the construction sites now, which is why we asked Autofiori to carry out a study on the impact of the individual works to develop further traffic relief”, reported the Ligurian governor at the end of the meeting.
“The inconveniences recorded on the A10 in recent days have highlighted the need to strengthen and make the emergency network more efficient. Today's meeting was fruitful in this sense: we were assured that the dialogue with users will be further improved with a new WhatsApp channel”, added Infrastructure Councilor Giacomo Giampedrone. A new meeting has already been scheduled in the next few days.
