400 hp was too little to escape, but too much for the driver
The Action is sometimes so cheap that it looks like theft, but that doesn’t mean you have to flee after visiting the physical AliExpress counterpart. Last night an Audi RS Q3 ran off the road after a wild chase. It is not known what the five occupants had on their plate. The only clues are an Adidas shoe box and an Action shopping bag in the back. In any case, the Audi sustained significant damage during the crash.
The Utrecht police report on Twitter: ‘After a wild chase via the A2 and through the polders of the Woerdense Verlaat, a vehicle crashed at the Middellandbaan in Woerden. The five occupants have been arrested and taken to hospital. We are investigating the circumstances.’
As in the RS 3, the five-cylinder engine in the Audi RS Q3 produces a healthy 400 hp and 480 Nm. The Audi RS Q3 sprints to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and stops accelerating at 250 km/h. Optionally, customers can extend the speed limiter to 280 km/h. Drive is to all wheels and there are six driving modes that affect the chassis, steering behavior and exhaust note, of which the RS1 and RS2 modes are the most interesting. On models that leave the factory, the front wheel is usually upright, by the way.
