The debut of the new Audi Q5 e-tron destined for the Chinese market is getting closer and closer. After the road tests of the prototype of the model spotted in recent days wearing a camouflage livery, the first official images of the next electric SUV that the four-ring car manufacturer will launch on the market of the Asian country by the end of the year have leaked on the web. . It will be proposed in different trim levels, and as announced by Audi itself for some time it will be built on the basis of the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform.

From an aesthetic point of view, the new Audi Q5 e-tron will feature a covered single-frame grille, surrounded by darker finishes. Details like the headlights, taillights and fender lines, on the other hand, appear similar to those fitted to the Q4 e-tron. Inside the cockpit, digitization standards will be very high: the scene will be dominated by a 10.25 “digital instrument panel flanked by an 11.6” touchscreen display dedicated to the infotainment system.
