Audi Huertas Motor has been present for yet another year at the Carburo de Plata Solidarity Regatta, a competition that has celebrated its twelfth edition and in which 60 boats and 500 crew members participated. After two years of hiatus due to the pandemic, sailing and solidarity came together at this event, the proceeds of which will go to the victims of the war in Ukraine, through the Red Cross.
As the official sponsor of the competition, the dealership brought to the tournament some of the most outstanding vehicles it offers at its facilities: the sporty and versatile A5 Sportback, which combines the design of a coupé with the functionality of an Audi Avant; the 100% electric E-tron GT, which redefines the concept of electromobility; the Q5 Sportback, the most surprising, spacious and dynamic SUV coupé; the compact E-tron Sportback; the Audi RS6 Avant, Audi Sport’s sportiest estate model with impressive acceleration, and the Q3 and Q4 Sportback.
After two days of regatta through the waters of the Bay of Cartagena and Portmán, the boat ‘Saleroso 2.0’, owned by Luis Carlos Martínez Muñoz, of the Club Náutico Águilas, was proclaimed absolute champion of the competition and received the Silver Carbide Trophy.
During the awards ceremony, held at the Juan Sebastián El Cano cruise terminal, the ‘Enewtec’ boat, led by Francisco Miguel Giménez, from the Club Náutico La Isleta, received the VII Audi Huertas Motor Trophy. The concessionaire also provided the official vehicle for the regatta, with which the Board of Directors of the Club Náutico Portmán made their trips, supporting the different events that have accompanied the celebration of the competition.
