Publisher Focus Entertainment and development studio Deck13 have announced the Reign of Sand releases on August 10, 2023. It is a free maxi update of the action role-playing game Atlas Fallenwhich aims to revolutionize it, improving the most criticized elements. You can download it on PC, Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5.

- NewGame+ – Restart with all your progress—skills and gear—for an even more challenging experience with new enemies, mechanics, and progression systems.
- New Ultra Hard Mode “Nightmare of Nyaal” – Exclusive to New Game+, this content offers the ultimate challenge for Atlas Fallen veterans.
- New Essence Stones – Customize your playstyle with 25 new perks and abilities.
- New challenges in the open world – Participate in Corruption Breaches to find very difficult fights and get special rewards.
- Revised introduction and dubbing – The voice acting has been completely overhauled with the addition of new voice actors, including Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI, Warframe) as a male playable character.
