Athletics multi-fighter Till Steinforth won the Bronzemedialle at the indoor world championships. The 22-year-old had to surrender only to Norwegian Sander Skotheim (6475) and the Estonian Johannes Erm (6437) in Nanjing, Chinese in the heptathlon with 6275 points. For the German Association, which occurred in China with a mini team, it was the only medal of these competitions.
Till Steinforth from SV Halle had won bronze at the European Championships under the hall roof in Apeldoorn just two weeks ago, with Leo Neugebauer, the Olympic second in decathlon, with 6388 points.
