Athletics European Championships | Finland rejoices at Raitanen’s and Mäkelä’s medals – President: “Gold every night”

Friday night Finnish track and field athletes brought more success to Finland at the European Championships in Munich, when Top Raitanen captured gold in the 3,000m hurdles and Kristiina Mäkelä silver in the triple jump.

The chairman of the Christian Democrats, who once won competition medals from walking Sari Essayah congratulated Mäkelä on the medal and the Finnish record.

A weightlifter Anni Vuohijoki brought up the other big news of the last few days when congratulating Murto and Raita.

Among the congratulators were also sports influencers such as Kalervo Kummola and former decathlete, current member of parliament Pauli Kiuru (cook).
