“The air company responsible for the transfer of passengers of the injured plane in Philadelphia, United States, confirmed to the Mexico Consulate in Philadelphia that six people of Mexican nationality were traveling in the aircraft,” the SRE said in a statement.

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, in a social publication has lamented the loss of “innocent souls” in the accident. While the governor of Pennsylvania (USA), Josh Shapiro, described the accident in Philadelphia of a small private medical evacuation plane with six people on board as “a terrible aviation disaster.”

A FAA spokesman told the media that the plane, model Learjet 55, crashed around 18:30 local time (23:30 GMT) after taking off from the Northeast of Philadelphia airport to Springfield (Misuri).
