At least 23 people have died and 28 have been injured in a Russian missile attack on a humanitarian convoy in Zaporizhiain southern Ukraine, according to the head of the military administration of that region, Oleksandr Staruj, in ‘Telegram’.

“At the moment it is known that there are 23 dead and 28 wounded. All civilians, our compatriots,” Staruj writes in a message collected by the Ukrinform agency, in which, addressing the Russian troops, he adds: “Burn in hell.”
Previously, Staruj had already reported of the attack on the humanitarian convoywhich was going to the temporarily occupied territories, as well as the existence of fatalities.
“The enemy shelled a civilian humanitarian convoy at the exit of the regional center with missiles. People were lining up to leave for the temporarily occupied territory to pick up their relatives, to bring aid. There are dead and wounded,” he wrote.
He added that the scene of the attack had already been attended by rescue teams, doctors and the necessary services.

A Russian government official in the occupied region of Zaporizhia, in southern Ukraine, on Friday accused Ukrainian forces of an attack on a civilian convoy, which left 23 dead and which kyiv blamed on Russia.
“The kyiv regime is trying to portray what happened as shelling by Russian troops, resorting to heinous provocation,” Vladimir Rogov, a regional occupation official, said on Telegram. “Ukrainian fighters committed another terrorist act,” he added.
