It should be noted that the panels ROG Nebula HDR will be exclusive to the Strix SCAR line and each model is equipped with a panel 2.5K with a 240Hz refresh rate and a gray-to-gray (GTG) response time of less than 3 ms.
These displays have a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and obviously support Dolby Vision. Finally, the Strix series chassis design has received a revamp for 2024, with the Strix SCAR and Strix now sporting revised yet classic ROG cyberpunk design elements. The entire ROG Strix family is focused on achieving maximum performance, which is why all models will be equipped with Intel Core i9 14900HXa 24-core, 32-thread flagship CPU capable of handling intensive rendering projects and Triple-A gaming. A new line of powerful laptops
As far as the GPU is concerned however, in the Strix SCAR 16 and SCAR 18 we will find an NVIDIA GeForce RTX up to 4090 Laptop, with total graphics power of 175 W with Dynamic Boost and excellent performance thanks to DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation. Borrowed from the technological innovations of the Zephyrus G14 and G16 line, the ASUS ROG Strix also benefit from a new cooling system thanks to Tri-Fan technologya system that uses a third auxiliary fan that increases airflow to surface-mounted components on the motherboard, while helping to channel excess heat from the GPU to the heatsinks.
All ROG laptops have liquid metal as a thermal interface between the CPU and heatsinks, in detail we are talking about the very high performance Conductonaut Extreme, which drastically reduces temperatures compared to traditional thermal pastes. This not only allows Strix machines to increase power and last longer, but keeps them running at their best for years to come. ASUS ROG Strix will be available starting from February 2024 at a recommended retail price of €3,299.
