The conference ASUS coinciding with the launch of CES 2024 in Las Vegas was decidedly full of announcements and between the new Zephyrus and SCAR, the company announced the new line-up of monitors designed for gaming. We're talking about ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM, ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP and ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDPall three designed for an immersive gaming experience with vibrant colors and image clarity.
Let's start with the largest of all, the ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM, a worthy screen 39 inch ultrawide OLED with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels800R curvature and 240 Hz refresh rate, to move up to the more compact 32-inch ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP, the first “dual-mode” gaming monitor in the world which, thanks to the Frame Rate Boost function, allows users to switch from 4K resolution at 240 Hz to Full HD at 480 Hz at any time. Finally, we have the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP, the world's fastest OLED gaming monitor with ua 480 Hz refresh rate.
All three of these monitors offer the technology Third generation ROG OLED, with a 30% increase in maximum brightness and a 20% improvement in viewing angle. In all three models there is a customized heatsink which, in addition to reducing the temperatures of the components, prevents the risk of panel burn-in. The maximum brightness of the panels is 1300 nits and they are compatible with DisplayHDR True Black 400 with a response time of 0.03 ms.
The ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM, thanks to the Smart KVM functionality, allows you to control two devices seamlessly with a single keyboard and a single mouse, while USB 3.2 connectivity ensures extremely fast file transfers. As for connectivity, we find DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C inputs with 90W Power Delivery. All three models are equipped with ROG Gaming Artificial Intelligence technology which includes Dynamic Shadow Boost, Dynamic Crosshair, Variable Overdrive 2.0 features and Dynamic GameVisual.
To enrich this line, ASUS also presented the ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar ALB01, which offers three operating modes: a front-only light, to reduce visual fatigue and help protect your eyesight, a backlight, to create more dramatic ambient light configurations compatible with Aura Sync, and a combination of the two. Added to this is the ROG Ergo Monitor Arma monitor support arm capable of supporting displays up to 39 inches with a maximum recommended weight of 11.5 kg.
