In recent hours, details have also emerged on RAM and battery, two other elements that would be significantly improved compared to the initial version, although this is not yet official information, therefore to be taken with due caution.
Improvements in several aspects of the hardware
Based on what emerged, it seems that ASUS ROG Ally X can make good use of it 24GB of RAM compared to the current 16, therefore a good step forward on the memory front, although in a slightly unusual cut but probably in line with the portable format of the hardware.
To be precise, it would be 24 GB LPDDR5X as RAM, which would provide ample space for data management in even new generation games, although the main SoC still seems to be an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme, i.e. the same as the initial version of the device.
This is what is reported by the leaker MysteryLupin, who also claims that the battery should have been increased and guarantee up to 8 hours of battery life, based on what has been reported. In any case, all that remains is to wait for the official presentation.
