After having talked in depth about the new laptops that will be part of the ROG lineup for 2024, ASUS has also announced the new ROG NUC, a “small form factor” PC with the performance of a full-sized gaming PC. Developed with the aim of going beyond a traditional gaming system, the new gaming PC, code-named “Scorpion Canyon”, packs all its power into an extremely compact size.
ROG NUCs will be ready with the processors Intel Core Ultra 7 or Core Ultra 9 integrated with the Performance Hybrid architecture which ensures always reactive and fast multitasking by taking advantage of the additional cores. Added to this is the power of graphics cards NVIDIA RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 which allow extraordinary visual quality capable of managing up to four 4K monitors simultaneously.
As for connectivity, in the ROG NUC we find HDMI 2.1a, DisplayPort 1.4, Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 2.0 and Intel Killer WiFi 6E AX1690i ports. What has been listed so far is enclosed in a chassis measuring 270 x 180 x 50 mm: incredibly compact dimensions also thanks to the tool-less design of the body which allows complete access without having to use any type of tool. More details will follow in the coming days.
