At the IFA technology fair in Berlin, Asus presented new laptops and accessories designed for gaming. The ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition notebook (G733) has a custom vapor chamber for cooling, paired with ROG’s Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal applied to both the CPU and GPU, which allows the SCAR 17 SE to push the hardware to the limit . With a maximum CPU TDP of 65W (12th Generation Intel Core i9-12950HX processor) and a maximum GPU TGP of 175W with Dynamic Boost, the SCAR 17 SE achieves maximum performance for gaming. It offers FHD 360Hz or QHD 240Hz panel options, both with 3ms response times. The ROG Flow Z13 (GZ7301) is a tablet that packs a lot of gaming power and runs Windows 11, with up to 12th Gen 14-core Intel Core processor i9-12900H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti notebook GPU, the switch MUX and 5,200 MHz LPDDR5 memory. Two display options are available: a 4K 60Hz display with 85% DCI-P3 coverage or a 120Hz Full HD display with 100% sRGB coverage.
Among the accessories debuted the ROG Strix Impact III mouse designed for FPS and therefore very light, weighing 59 grams, and with a balanced design with a profile of the left and right buttons designed for precise clicks and a grip suitable for all styles grip, also integrating a mechanical button tensioning system that guarantees an almost zero click latency. Additionally, ROG recently unveiled ROG Keris Wireless AimPoint and Gladius III Wireless AimPoint. Both of these mice are equipped with the 36,000 dpi ROG AimPoint sensor, which ensures accuracy even in the choice of relative sensitivity, and ROG SpeedNova wireless technology, which optimizes battery life. They are also both equipped with appropriately shaped and molded ROG pattern anti-slip tape, to help players get a better grip during the most competitive situations. Both mice will also be available in Moonlight White versions.
