Doug Lafferty will be the new CFO of Aston Martin. The British carmaker has dissolved reservations, it will be the current CFO of Vivo Energy, a fuel dealer listed on the FTSE 250, to hold the role of Chief Financial Officer within the brand. And that’s not all, because in the summer of 2022 Lafferty will also be named a member of the board of directors as executive director. Lafferty’s experience speaks for itself: Aston Martin’s new CFO has spent three years as CFO in Williams Grand Prix Holdings, and for sixteen years he held a variety of executive and financial roles at British American Tobacco.
“This is a exciting time to join Aston Martin, with the company establishing an extraordinary product pipeline, a renewed culture of operational excellence and a world-class leadership team – Lafferty commented – I am looking forward to playing my part in this new era for Aston Martin under the leadership of Lawrence and Tobias ”. The reference of the new CFO of the British brand obviously goes to the executive president Stroll and to the CEO Moers: both strongly wanted the appointment of Lafferty, the first to “His work for the Williams Racing Team e his international experience which make him a phenomenal addition to our leadership team “, and the second why “He will be a top-notch CFO, a fantastic asset to Aston Martin, who will fit in perfectly with our team.”
