Ubisoft is reportedly working on one cooperative mode Of Assassin’s Creed Shadows which will be integrated into the game after publication as part of the post-launch content, at least according to the latest tip launched by Tom Henderson.
According to the sources of the well-known insider, this mode is already being worked on at the studios of the French company, but at the moment it does not have a precise internal launch window due to the recent postponement of the game to 2025, which seems to have upset the work pipeline of the developers.
Is multiplayer back in the main series?
This is the only information obtained from Henderson for the moment, who hypothesizes that in this cooperative mode players will take on the role of Yasuke and Naoe and will use the skills of these two characters to complete missions of various kinds. Obviously, it cannot be ruled out that it could be something very different and unrelated to the two co-protagonists of the game, always provided that this tip is true.
As reported in recent days, again from the information obtained from Henderson, at the moment the developers of Ubisoft are taking advantage of the extra time obtained thanks to the postponement to make some changes to the game, both from the point of view of the gameplay and of some elements related to Yasuke and the representation of feudal Japan criticized by the community. For this occasion we remind you that the new release date of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set at February 14, 2025.
