Yesterday during the Assassin’s Creed Showcase, we were presented with a bunch of new chapters of Ubisoft’s most beloved saga that will be released in the coming years. The first to keep us company will certainly be Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which has a well-defined launch window relating to a laconic 2023.
During the same showcase, Ubisoft also presented codename Red which will be set in feudal Japan, codename Hexe of which we know practically nothing except the presentation trailer seen yesterday, and codename Jade, a future open-world mobile game set in China.
These latest games, including another one that will be released on Netflix’s gaming platform, will be destined to be part of Assaassin’s Creed Infinity, while the only one to be designed for 2023 is precisely, Mirage.
This latest release was however facilitated by the use of the same game systems as Valhalla, of which in principle it was supposed to be a simple spin-off. Who knows where this path taken by Ubisoft will lead, only the future can tell us.
