Having never met his father, the guest singer Rkomi explained to Verissimo, he almost never felt his absence
Rkomi, stage name of Mirko Manuele Martonara, was undoubtedly one of the most popular singers during the last edition of the Sanremo Festival. His song “Insuperabile” is often played on all radios and the Milanese rapper seems to enjoy this wave of success to the fullest. But his life hasn’t always been plain sailing.
In yesterday’s episode of very trueSilvia Toffanin was able to meet and interview the young singer, undertaking a heartfelt chat with him that revealed many sides of his private life and his personality.
The most touching moment came when he talked about his own father. Rkomi said she never met him, and perhaps for this very reason he never missed him too much.
It wasn’t until I was 18 that I felt the need to get to know him, but then I left school, went to live alone and let myself be distracted by other things. This thing has gotten a bit in the corner.
Certainly there is no lack of affection for Mirko, who grew up in the Milanese suburbs along with his own mumwhich he adores, and to his own siblingsto which he is very attached.
Rkomi and love
Then Toffanin’s interview moved more to the side passionate and relational.
The singer talked about his love for him sportin particular for the Thai box, which in difficult times of his adolescence, he explained, taught him the discipline.
This sport taught me discipline while growing up in a tough neighborhood. At the time I was very angry, so instead of going around bullshitting I went to the gym.
Regarding thelove, Rkomi left very little room for doubt. A few weeks ago, a guest on Rai from Mara Venier, he had said that he was dating a girl, but that he was not in love with her.
Yesterday he retracted instead, saying that in reality he doesn’t go out with anyone.
I am more single and open than ever. Love for me is an important aspect and by my side I need a strong woman. I am convinced that it will come sooner or later.
