Arroyo also highlighted “the integration of the port into the city as another of the greatest advances experienced this year, with the transformation of the maritime façade into a place of leisure for the people of Cartagena and a new tourist attraction”, and described “Barlomar as the project that ensures the future development of the port of Cartagena. Barlomar will mean opening Cartagena to international trade and next year we must continue promoting it as a key piece in our future, “he said.
With allusions to the Urban Agenda and the need to definitively promote strategic projects such as the City of Justice, the ZAL and the AVE, Arroyo defended the «agricultural Cartagena, which needs us all fighting against a cut in the Transfer that threatens the livelihood of thousands of families. He concluded by appealing to everyone’s “unity and commitment to our land to make 2023 a year of progress for Cartagena.”
