Arrivly is really a firm chand is unrivaled in design, and this shoulder bag is proof of that. I’ve had the opportunity to use it for over a week, and I really can’t do without it anymore, if only to arouse some envy in my friends, I admit.
It is not the first time that we have talked about Arrivly, this family-run company from Bremen, which for some years has decided to redefine the standards of design and safety for our most expensive devices, but also not to miss something really beautiful for the eyes.
Unfortunately, as for the older brother Arrivly laptop backpack, the presentation of the packaging leaves something to be desired, always the usual zipped bustona and without gadgets or rigid packaging for gift ideas, really a great pity.
Obviously as with the Arrivly backpack, the shoulder strap is immediately forgiven for its Stealth F-117 design, which is now clear, it is too good. It has that 90s future flavor that makes you feel a bit Cyber and a bit urban ninja.
Arrivly shoulder bag: a MUST
Completely waterproof and covered on one side in shockproof polyester, and on the other in breathable fabric, it completes its aesthetic and resistance research, with a long and wide adjustable ballistic Nylon strings. Unfortunately the oxford lining of the waterproof shoulder strap is too short and not movable, and this tends in my specific case (I am very broad shoulders) to cut my neck with ballistic nylon. Sin, it would be enough to make the covering mobile.
Unlike the Arrivly PC Backpack, however, the internal padding is complete on both sides, ensuring a truly safe and rounded, drop-proof compartment. Like the backpack, it can float if it lands in the water, which I love beyond anything else.
The omnipresent opening for the USB outputs connected to the internal compartment, typical of Arrivly design, allows you to place a power bank, once used you will not want anything else. The capacity is surprisingly large, I think it is around 5L, pushing it to the maximum I managed to get it in: wallet, a book, a tablet, telephone, power bank, keys, wireless headphones with case, a 500ml bottle and a charger with cable.
Arrivly’s fit is unisex, and it has this almost perennial freshness in wearing it; despite the equatorial temperatures of these days, I almost forgot I was wearing it for 3 hours in the sun, and it never restricted my movements.
Obviously it is very convenient to go for a run, and by bike it is absolutely essential, especially for the side USB ports and the aerodynamic grip, it practically avoids any type of imbalance, regardless of the low weight. The internal compartments are also very versatile and very rigid, avoiding finding around objects in the compartment.
The materials and comfort, however, do not justify the price, also because they are not innovative materials, or newly patented, and even if I swear, I love the design of Arrivly, 59 € seems to me too much and almost completely unjustified, especially because the PC backpack of the the same brand is instead sold virtually underpriced, but it has a less versatile use.
For the same price it is true that you can find much more, unfortunately Arrivly’s comfortable and durable feel is a big plus, if not decisive for the purchase, as long as you are willing to think in terms of longevity and long-term savings. Because this, like other Arrivly products, has the advantage of being designed to last even in really extreme situations.
You can find the Arrivly shoulder strap on Amazon to the price of € 59 and currently a discount of 10 € is also available (Applicable simply by putting the checkbox next to “Apply € 10.00 coupon”On the Amazon product page, under the price, which makes the product even more interesting.
