The UN warned about the slowness in the vaccination of ethnic communities in the Amazon on the triple border between Colombia, Peru and Brazil. In Colombia, more than 67,000 indigenous people have been infected and about 1950 have died from the pathogen. In Brazil, 77% of indigenous people living in villages have already received two doses of the vaccine. Meanwhile, the Argentine government faces geographic and communication challenges when it comes to bringing vaccines to the most remote communities. .
