The International Football Association (FIFA) announced today, Sunday, the launch of the last phase of tickets for the 2021 Arab Cup matches in Qatar, starting tomorrow, Monday, according to the priority of purchase.
On its first day, the tournament will witness the opening of two of the 2022 World Cup stadiums in Qatar, namely Al Bayt Stadium and Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, after announcing the readiness of Al Thumama Stadium, the sixth completed World Cup stadium.
Fans will enjoy watching these innovative architectural edifices closely, and follow their teams as they compete for the title of the first championship that brings together all Arab teams under the FIFA umbrella. Tickets will be available during the last stage on a first-come-first-served basis, and will be confirmed upon payment.
Tickets for all matches are still available, including tickets for the opening match on November 30 at Al Bayt Stadium between Qatar and Bahrain, and tickets for the UAE-Syria match at Ras Abu Aboud Stadium on the first day of the tournament. A group of low-priced tickets are also available, as the cost of the fourth category ticket is 25 Qatari riyals (exclusive for residents of the State of Qatar), for all matches except for the semi-final and final matches.
Fans will be able to attend more than one match per day, thanks to the closely spaced nature of the tournament, and the ability to move between stadiums through the advanced transport network that connects them, such as the metro and public transport, and enjoy a glimpse of what awaits them in the Qatar World Cup 2022.
Tickets can be purchased from the FIFA Sales Center at the Doha Exhibition Center “Al Qassar Metro Station” starting from mid-November.
The fan card will be mandatory for anyone who holds a ticket to attend the Arab Cup matches, and is a smart identification card designed to provide fans in Qatar with a great experience. Fans from abroad can also use the fan card to enter Qatar several times, provided they hold a valid passport recognized by the Qatari authorities.
The fan card will provide its holder with the possibility to benefit from a number of services and benefits related to transportation, tourism and others. Fans must apply for a fan card immediately after booking the ticket and receiving its registration number on the e-mail.
The concerned authorities in the State of Qatar are responsible for issuing all fan cards, and FIFA is not responsible for their requests, issuance or use.
In light of the precautionary measures to prevent the emerging corona virus “Covid-19”, and in accordance with the procedures previously applied during the Club World Cup and the Arab Cup qualifiers last June, the host country will apply all preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of all participants in the competitions, and all attendees must adhere to the instructions Travel issued by the Qatari authorities and the directives of the Ministry of Public Health.
