A playful-pedagogical application, in game format, will be made available by the Federal District government to public schools, with the aim of promoting tax education for teachers and students. O Scene addresses “diverse and interconnected subjects necessary for the formation of citizenship”, as a State; taxes; budget, finance and public management; ethic; and social control.
The proposal, according to the DF government, is to use technology and audiovisual production in a strategic way for the didactic transposition of contents related to the tax education theme. Initially, by the end of the year, a pilot will be carried out for students and teachers of elementary and secondary education from 80 public schools.
The expectation is that the application will gain scale and reach other schools in the coming school years. interested schools can apply for the project over the internet,
The application “dialogs with various objects of the respective curricular components and areas of knowledge”, informs the government of the Federal District, pointing to it as “the result of the expertise built along the work developed with the complex topic of tax education”.
The project was carried out within the scope of the Federal District’s Fiscal Education Program, which was created in 1998 with the aim of disseminating knowledge in order to contribute to the formation of citizenship.
It is based on two structuring axes: the social function of the tax, and social control, in order to harmonize the State-citizen relationship, “which until then has been asymmetric, where the State overlaps the Citizen”, he justifies, in a note , the government of the DF.
