Apple, the drones signed by the Cupertino house are on the way: hidden patents appear in Singapore
Apple may be developing its own drone. As reported by the Daily Mail, the company would have secured two patents describing small vehicles unmanned aircraft (Uav) that mate with a wireless controllers or managed via iPhone or Nintendo DS. Apple would initially have deposited i patents in Singapore “to keep the projects secret”, but since then he has also deposited them with the Patent and Trademark Office of the United States. The images in the patents depict a small drone with four rotors.
THE patents would first be deposited in May 2020 in Singapore, but would arrive in the United States in February and April and be assigned and confirmed to Apple on November 11, as first reported by Patently Apple. A patent, entitled “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and Controller Association”Describes the use of wireless controller to operate the Apple UAV.
THE controller, according to the question of patent, would have at least one antenna to perform cellular communication with the drone. The UAV they would also be designed with a type of memory and processing elements that would allow them to recall previous tasks sent by controllers. The second patent, entitled “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Tracking and Control“, Would have been filed in the United States on 23 February 2021.
Unlike the other, this one describes using a smartphone, in particular the Apple iPhone, to control the drone. The patent also discloses that a portable gaming system such as a Nintendo DS could control UAVs. It is not clear whether Apple is actually developing what is foreseen by the patents.
