A new clue discovered by Tom Warren would seem to further strengthen the hypothesis of the arrival of the music streaming service Apple Music on platforms PlayStation and Xbox.
Last week we reported the discovery of a user on Reddit, who had spotted the aforementioned app in the PS5 dashboard while creating a new profile, thus suggesting the arrival of Apple’s service on PlayStation platforms.
A few hours ago, however, Tom Warren, journalist of The Verge, posted on Twitter an excerpt from the Apple Music FAQ page, which states: “You can also listen to Apple Music on many popular streaming devices, smart TVs and game console if they support Apple Music app ”
The information strengthens the hypothesis of the arrival of Apple Music at least on PlayStation platforms, where it had already been spotted in recent days, but potentially also includes Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.
It would not be the first app from the Cupertino house to arrive on Sony and Microsoft consoles, given that Apple TV + has been available on PlayStation and Xbox platforms for a long time. At this point all that remains is to wait for the official confirmation from Apple, which could arrive in the next few days.
For the uninitiated, Apple Music is a platform that allows you to listen to millions of songs, playlists and albums in streaming, a bit like Spotify. Just yesterday a new subscription plan was announced at 4.99 euros per month which provides for the use of only voice commands via Siri.
