Anti-corruption asks to investigate Ábalos because it is difficult to understand the operation of the plot “without his participation”

The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office has indicated in its report to the judge of the National Court investigating the ‘Koldo case’ that ask the Supreme Court to investigate former minister José Luis Ábalos because “it is difficult to understand the operation carried out by Koldo García –former advisor of the former minister– and Víctor de Aldama –the alleged achiever of the plot– without participation” of whom he was also secretary of organization of the PSOE.

This is stated in the report of the Public Ministry, to which Europa Press has had access, which also specifies that from what has been reported so far it appears that the awards to Soluciones de Gestión – a company linked to the alleged plot – took place thanks to that their offers were “designated from the highest level of the Ministry” as stated by the undersecretary of that ministerial portfolio, José Manuel Gómez García, before the court.

The prosecutor adds that this is also established in the audit report prepared at the request of the current Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, which indicated that “the proposal came from the highest level of the Ministry.” “A designation that cannot be understood to have only been endorsed by the minister’s personal advisor, someone who in the ministerial organization chart was on a step lower than the undersecretary and without any executive capacity,” he explains.

Anticorruption considers that in light of the profit obtained by De Aldama thanks to these contracts, “this privileged information and the assurance of the contract with Management Solutions, entails highlighting the personal and direct relationship that he maintained at that time with Koldo García. and, therefore, with the former minister himself.”
