Located in the province of Potenza on a cliff immersed in the hills of the Buitre-Melfese area, the place is characterized by its medieval framework.
The territory extends along the slopes of the volcanic massif of Monte Vulture and constitutes an area of the Lucanian region, characterized by the cultivation and production of the Aglianico variety grapes.
