Animals The jaguar and the dog fell into the same well in Mexico, and the dog also survived

Experts are concerned about the spread of human settlement to the residential areas of the Jaguars.

Dog encountered a jaguar, and in the smell of a melee, the animals fell into the same well in the village of Mahahual in the state of Quintana Roo in southern Mexico on December 4th.

The villagers were the first to be rescued from the mine. A black dog named Negro was reported to have suffered only superficial wounds and is expected to fully recover from the incident, according to Reuters.

People from the Animal Welfare Association (IFAW) were expected to help the jaguar. A camera at the end of the shaft was inserted into the well to examine the situation. The jaguar did not like this. The camera was destroyed. The situation is shown in the video below.

Eventually, the jaguar also got up from the well and continued its journey into the woods.

Animal shelters are annoyed by the spread of human settlement ever deeper into the residential areas of the Jaguars. Jaguars are under threat in Mexico.

Veterinarian working for IFAW Erika Flores According to Reuters, similar encounters between pets and jaguars are happening all the time.

“In Mexico, the Jaguars are in danger of extinction, so it is very important to calm the situation and leave the areas belonging to them to the Jaguars,” Flores said.

Villagers were reminded to keep their pets under control so that pets would not be allowed to disturb the large cat predators moving around the area.
