The Jeddah Summit for Security and Development, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia yesterday, is a reflection of the vision of the UAE and its wise leadership in promoting stability and security of peoples, and their development not only in the region, but also in the world, while the summit and its implications in the field of development and achieving security reflect what was stated in the speeches of His Highness the President The State for the People and at the I2U2 Summit, according to experts and analysts.
Experts and analysts say that the “Jeddah Summit” is consistent in its content, objectives and data with the foreign policy of the United Arab Emirates, which calls for promoting the values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and economic partnership with the countries of the region to build a strong economic bloc that can seize opportunities to achieve peace and stay away from military conflicts and sectarian and ethnic wars.
The experts assured Al-Ittihad that the UAE, for its part, pre-empted the Security and Development Summit by announcing the investment initiative in Indian food complexes, with the aim of ensuring global food security, and this is also linked to the current summit.
The Emirati strategist, Brigadier General Khalfan Al Kaabi, said that the Jeddah summit confirms the UAE’s vision on the importance of developing relations between various countries, which in turn achieve security and stability, noting that the UAE has always contributed to restoring stability in the region and the world.
Brigadier General Khalfan pointed out that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” confirmed that the UAE was alert to the future crisis and developed ways to solve it.
He added that the world is aware of the influential role of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the Arab region, pointing out that the world is doing this to ensure its interests, especially since the summit proved that the Arab countries have become a correct number in the global equation through their economic and oil power. In addition, Director of the Eastern Mediterranean Forum for Political and Strategic Studies, Mohammed Hamed, stressed that the Jeddah summit and its implications in the field of development and security reflect the vision of the UAE, pointing out that the UAE participates in the summit as a natural path based on achieving Gulf solidarity.
Hamed added to Al-Ittihad that the participation of Arab countries in the summit is an extension of Arab solidarity in the face of regional and international crises and that their repercussions do not affect Arab countries, explaining that the summit promotes the values of tolerance, peace, development, stability and the welfare of peoples, which consolidates peace in the region, which has witnessed major crises and damage. During the past ten years. Hamed pointed out that the UAE over the past years has drawn up an internal and external policy that promotes the values of tolerance, peace and development for its Gulf and Arab surroundings, pointing out that it has become an important figure in the global economy through internal policies by strengthening the strength of the private sector.
