Agents of the National Police have dismantled an organization dedicated to recruit minors Swedes and Danes for the commission murders and attacks with explosive devices.
In a joint investigation with the police of Sweden and Denmark and coordinated by EUROPOL and EUROJUST, officers have arrested in Alicante to several members of a criminal organization, three Swedish citizens, one of them a minor, who recruited potential murderers through a Telegram channel.
The operation began with the arrest in Benalmadena (Malaga) of a minor, of Swedish nationality, who had been recruited by this group and who had traveled to Spain to murder the member of a rival biker group. This young man had been the subject of a recruitment process, via social networks, and subsequently sent to Spain to commit the murder.
For the commission of this fact, the members of the network planned to send a assault rifle and planned an escape plan, which at first would be using a electric scooter.
In a parallel and coordinated manner, two other minors, also of Swedish nationality, who had traveled to that country with the intention of committing another murder, were arrested in Denmark, and two other firearms were seized.
The second phase of the operation was aimed at locating, identifying and arresting the members of the organization who recruited these young people, commissioned the murders, managed the trafficking of weapons and drugs and laundered the money. At the beginning of November, GOES agents raided a home in San Juan (Alicante), where the parents and minor members of the organization were detained. The investigation has also uncovered an important criminal network between Sweden and Eastern European countries, for which National Police agents have worked together with the police of Sweden and Denmark, under the coordination of EUROPOL and EUROJUST and have carried out carry out this operation with financing instruments from the European Union.
