An earthquake has shaken Granada and its metropolitan area this Wednesday at noon. The earthquake, which lasted several seconds, took place at 12:15 p.m. and was noticeable in the capital and the towns of its Belt. According to the National Geographic Institute (IGN), the earthquake had an intensity of 4.2 degrees on the Richter scale, although the measure is provisional for the moment.
The IGN reports, also provisionally, that the epicenter of the earthquake has been located in Santa Fe at a depth of five kilometers.
