An earthquake of 4.9 degrees of magnitude in the Richter scale (from 0 to 10) with epicenter in the surroundings of the Moroccan town Ksar el-Kébir has been felt in municipalities of up to six Andalusian provinces, without record damage personal or material.
According to the National Geographic Institute website, consulted by Europa press, The earthquake has occurred around 23.49 on Monday, February 10 with an epicenter in the Moroccan region of Tangier-Tetuán-Alhucema at a depth of 34 kilometers.
The earthquake has felt with intensity II and III in municipalities of Seville (Alcalá de Guadaíra, Guillena, San Juan de Aznalfarache, Bormujos, Carmona, Mairena del Aljarafe, two sisters and the capital); Cádiz (Algeciras, Los Barrios and San Roque); Malaga (Estepona, Fuengirola and the capital); Huelva (Lepe and the capital); Jaén (Linares) and Córdoba Capital.
The 112 Andalusia Unified Emergency Service has received five notices from Citizens at dawn for this earthquake, four in the province of Seville (two in the capital, Mairena del Alcor and Mairena del Aljarafe) and one in Huelva (Bollullos even from the County).
