Awolf is a new app that aims to be the inseparable companion of all golfers, encompassing in the same space the possibility of signing up and organizing tournaments, booking green fees, booking lessons and even experiences with professionals.
It has just been born, but just two months old it has already managed to hook 2,500 users. The goal is to end the year above 50,000, at which point all its virtues can truly be verified.
Because Awolf is conceived as a social network, a large community in which interaction between golfers will be key. At the moment, the target audience is the 300,000 federated players in Spain, although in the long term they intend to expand their networks throughout Europe.
And what can all those golfers do there? First of all, manage your playing time, either by reserving a green fee directly at more than a hundred courses or by signing up for one of the games already created, either with friends or with any other player. The latter is a unique opportunity to meet new playing partners, with the added bonus of being able to know your handicap beforehand, which is always an advantage for beginner players, who prefer to compete with people of their level. There will also be the option to sign up for tournaments, either in person or virtually. In the app all the statistics of the games will be collected through its virtual cards, which have all the game modes.
Another section will allow users to book golf lessons with teachers from all over Spain, and even book experiences with professionals, with whom they can play 18 holes. Classes will not only be in person. Thanks to the platform, teachers will be able to suggest training sessions and track their students’ progress through a private chat.
This aggregator of golf services is completed with a material store and a community space, where you can see at a glance the data of your contacts’ games, discuss different aspects of the game and find out the latest news from your grid.
