When the biomedical engineering student learned of Cleo’s story, he realized he could do something to help her walk again.
The story of this little dog named Cleo teaches everyone that, although life can put anyone in front of seemingly insurmountable challenges, one must never lose the desire to fight and move forward. If you then find a friend and a support like what the student does Jordan Rosenfeld gave it to her, then yes it all gets easier.
The life of this puppy has not been kind to her at all. After having been abandoned on the street, a car has it invested leaving her aching and aching on the cold, hard asphalt. Unfortunately, the accident literally has them destroyed a paw and was only saved because some volunteers managed to intervene in time.
A vet tried everything to save her life, however he could not do anything to save one of her front legs, which unfortunately was amputated.
Nonetheless, the little dog she did not throw herself down. He has kept his being gentle and lively and has never stopped running, albeit in a style that is anything but coordinated and elegant.
The association posted her photos, videos and story on the web, attracting the attention of Jordan, one biomedical engineering student at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Jordan wants to improve Cleo’s life
Not only did Jordan immediately love the character kind and sweet of Cleo, but she thought she could do something for improve his life. So he decided to adopt it.
Over the past year, Jordan has spent many hours studying and designing one perfect prosthesis for Cleo. Hours and hours spent in the printing laboratory in 3D of his university, projects after projects and even failures, but he, just like Cleo, has absolutely no intention of giving up.
The boy thinks that, by fixing the mistakes made in the three attempts made so far, for the beginning of the new year the dog can finally have a new carbon leg.
I know very well that she would be fine even without it. Just look at her to understand that she is already very happy like this. But I feel I can and want to do something to help her and I won’t give up until I can.
