The incident occurred during the early hours of Friday in a field next to Alcorcón street
An 18-year-old young man was treated during the early hours of this Friday by the emergency health services after suffering
severe burns when a vehicle burns in Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier). The young man was transferred to the Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital in Murcia.
The 112 received, at 2.35 hours, calls reporting the incident, which were located in
an open space next to Alcorcón street in the town. Local police patrols, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium (CEIS) and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) with personnel from the Health Emergencies and Emergency Management Office 061 traveled to the site. They put out the fire in the vehicle, while the health workers attended to the injured person, who was transferred by the UME to the Burns Unit of La Arrixaca.
