His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, was briefed on the strategy and services of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, which aims to enhance the efficiency of the federal health sector in the country, provide health and curative services, take preventive measures, combat epidemics and diseases and achieve sustainable development of health care.
This came during a meeting with His Highness yesterday in his office at the Ruler’s Court, Dr. Muhammad Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Foundation for Health Services, Dr. Youssef Mohammed Al Serkal, Assistant Undersecretary for the Hospitals Sector, Director General of the Emirates Foundation for Health Services, and Youssef Muhammad Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Protocol and Hospitality Department in Ajman and the Vice-President of the Foundation, who gave His Highness a detailed explanation of the implementation of strategic policies and standards related to the public health sector, health and preventive care set by the Ministry, and the most important legislation related to the development of the federal health sector in the various emirates of the country.
His Highness listened to officials during the meeting about the most important strategic objectives of the Foundation, programs, initiatives, proposals and future projects, which include providing comprehensive and integrated health care in innovative and sustainable ways that ensure the protection of society from diseases, applying international standards in managing infrastructure in health facilities and building quality and therapeutic and health safety systems according to International standards and ensuring the provision of all administrative services in accordance with standards of quality, efficiency and transparency, and the consolidation of a culture of innovation in the institutional work environment.
His Highness was also briefed on the importance of the “My Care” platform – the unified national health registry, which was launched by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Health, the Emirates Foundation for Health Services and the Dubai Health Authority, which constitutes a milestone in the journey of the “My Care” platform represented in linking With each of “Wareed” – the electronic health care information system – at the Emirates Corporation for Health Services in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and “Nabd” – the health information network of the “Dubai Health Authority”.
