Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, launched the “Ajman Model for Community Care”, a translation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, to raise the quality of life in the emirate and activate community involvement with the local government. This came while His Highness was briefed on the studies prepared by the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center in accordance with best practices and standard comparisons concerned with community service studies, in the presence of Dr. Saeed Saif Al Matroushi, Secretary-General of the Executive Council, and Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Executive Director of the Ajman Center for Statistics and Competitiveness.
His Highness praised the development of this model, which is the first of its kind at the state level and unique at the global level, and aims to take care of the needs of society and provide general and basic services to the public of the emirate by involving the community in the processes of creating and developing services and evaluating their effectiveness based on the most prominent global models in this regard. His Highness directed local government agencies to adopt the model that was designed to meet the aspirations of society and meet their needs by adopting pioneering work mechanisms in government administration. It also allows the local government to provide pioneering services and develop modern infrastructure that makes the emirate a better place to live and ensure the participation of all stakeholders in meeting the needs of the emirate’s residents.
The model reflects the government’s commitment to placing the community’s needs among its priorities, directing and continuous support for the planning process and comprehensive sustainable development, and making all efforts to document communication with the various segments of society concerned with its services, in addition to presenting the results of service performance and monitoring the opinions and suggestions of the targeted community groups on a regular basis, which enables them to anticipate The future is to develop services and enhance the levels of their provision.
