His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised the great attention paid by the wise leadership of the UAE to heritage, antiquities, national identity, and the preservation and dissemination of heritage content. He also praised the great and appreciative interest of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, through the establishment of museums and the organization of many heritage events in the emirate, where the eye does not mistake the prominent heritage landmarks in Ajman, most notably the Ajman Museum and today. Masfout Museum, and His Highness always directs the necessity of paying attention to heritage and antiquities.
This came at the inauguration of His Highness Masfoot Museum, in the presence of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, head of the Tourism Development Department, and a number of officials, who tells the story of Masfoot through a journey of time stretching over five thousand years from the prehistoric era to the modern city of Masfoot. The opening of the museum coincides with the UAE’s fiftieth anniversary celebrations.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi said: The different emirates of the country are interested in establishing many museums in order to preserve the heritage of the fathers and grandfathers and to consolidate the life of the younger generations by providing them with the culture of the previous generations.
He expressed his happiness and a sense of great pride as he opened the Masfout Museum, thanks to the lofty directives and continuous support of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, who is always dedicated to serving the cultural heritage and heritage initiatives at the level of the Emirate. His Highness added that the Masfout Museum offers a unique experience with its diversity in all aspects of heritage in the Masfoot region.
The opening ceremony of the museum was attended by Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Citizens Affairs Office, and a number of officials.
