AMLO traveled to Washington to meet with then-President Donald Trump, to commemorate the entry into force of the historic Mexico-United States-Canada Treaty (T-MEC).
The leaders held a meeting at the White House and gave a joint message.
“The forecasts failed, we did not fight, we are friends and we are going to continue being friends,” AMLO said about Trump.
