Biden explained during an interview with ABC: “They (American weapons) are allowed to be used near the border (with Russia) when Ukraine is attacked from the other side of the border.”
The US President added: “We do not allow strikes within 200 miles inside Russia, and we do not allow strikes on Moscow or the Kremlin.”
Regarding the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he said: “Providing Ukraine with high-precision weapons to direct strikes on Russian territory is direct participation in this war,” Biden commented: “I have known him for more than 40 years. He has been worrying me for 40 years. “He is not a respectable man.”
He continued his attack on the Russian president: “He is a dictator, and he is struggling to make sure that he keeps his country together while continuing this attack.”
Biden continued: “We are not talking about giving them weapons to hit Moscow, or to hit the Kremlin, only at the border where they are exposed to significant fire from conventional weapons that the Russians use to go into Ukraine to kill Ukrainians.”
