The US Treasury said that, on Wednesday, the United States imposed sanctions on a large international network run by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and a Houthi financier that transferred tens of millions of dollars to the Houthis in Yemen.
The US Treasury said that “the international network that supports the Houthis is headed by the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.”
“The network backed by the Iranian Quds Force diverted millions of dollars to support Houthi attacks,” she added.
The Treasury said in a statement that the funds were used to support Houthi attacks.
